This unique vacation rental set on a three-acre avocado farm sleeps up to three guests. With ocean views of Kailua Kona, guests can enjoy the unique experience of a mountain getaway with the knowledge that the nearest beach is less than five miles away.
There are two beds in the rental, so it is ideal for couples, a small family, or a small group of friends. There is a full bathroom with a huge walk-in marble shower, a great sauna, and guests need not worry about bringing bath towels or toiletries, as these have all been provided by the host. There is a comfortable living space with a television so guests can relax after a long day of excursions in front of a movie. The kitchen space is perfect for guests to prepare their own meals, but a delicious breakfast is provided daily by the host.
Outside, guests can relax in the Furo Tub on the lanai with beautiful views of this rental's stunning grounds. Guests also have access to a beautiful outdoor pool, and in the evenings, they can relax next to the fire pit and watch the stars come out over this stunning part of the world.
The hosts have ensured that guests will have all the mod-cons they need while staying at this delightful rental. There is both air-conditioning and heating in the rental so guests will be comfortable all year round. All towels, bed linens, and toiletries are provided so guests only need to back their clothes and essentials. There is a television with cable-TV, and the free Wi-Fi means visitors can stay connected during their stay. Should guests require laundry during their stay there is a washer and a dryer for them to use. I am a retired chef, love to cook and have extensive knowledge of the Big Island. A menu of choices is provided at check-in and fresh fruit is always available. Breakfast every morning is included in the price.

There are so many activities available on Big Island that it will make guests heads spin. Travelling to a tropical island with incredible beaches means it's virtually an unwritten rule to have a few days of ocean fun. The Kona Surf School, just seven miles from the property so rookies can have a few lessons in one of the most famous surfing locations in the world. For a unique ocean experience, guests can head to Atlantis Submarines Hawaii. This company offers romantic, sunset dinner cruises, and they also offer an undersea adventure worthy of Captain Nemo himself. Diving over 100 feet in an authentic submarine these state-of-the-art submarines are Coast Guard approved and air-conditioned for safety and comfort. The dive site is frequented by green turtles, sharks, stingrays, yellow tangs, eels, and many other species of underwater marine life. There are also cultural activities to get involved with. There are art galleries and museums in the area, and there is the volcano winery. Here guests can buy tickets for all sorts of events such as the harvest festival, as well as sample various wines. The Huliheʻe Palace, formerly a residence of the Hawaiian royal family, exhibits artifacts from the Victorian era and also hosts events to teach visitors about life here during the era.
