The hosts of this property manifest this vision through their mission to inspire new ways of being in the world by living simply, learning joyfully, experiencing community, and honoring the land. The tree house rooms are situated on the 120-acre educational center on the Puna coastline of Hawaii Island, about 15 minutes from the town of Pahoa. The sustainable campus is home to wellness-oriented classes and activities that center around Hawaiian culture, meditation, and performance, with volunteers and staff from all over the world to contribute to the mission. On the property, glampers will find a wide range of colorful indigenous vegetation, as well as a 25-meter pool, a heated aquatic pool, wellness and massage therapy offerings, yoga studios, and a hot tub.

Just outside of the center, glampers can also explore the natural attractions that inhabit the area, like the Kapoho Tide Pools, Lava Tree State Park, and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park located further inland. This part of the island also boasts black sand beaches, art galleries, shops, and delicious local restaurants along the coast.

Glampers staying at this remote jungle site will find plenty to do right on the property, all while remaining within close proximity to natural wonders such as black sand beaches and lava fields from the 2018 eruption. Throughout their stay, guests can partake in any of the yoga classes, community workshops, or art lessons happening on the campus for a nominal fee, or book an appointment at the wellness studio for an afternoon of therapeutic massage therapy. The grounds are full of lush jungle, vibrant orchids, tropical fruit trees, and palm trees, with winding paths throughout the vegetation that invite guests to go for a relaxing stroll before venturing out to explore the island.

On the Island of Hawaii, guests can tour natural attractions with local guides, or head into Volcanoes National Park for a hike around the active volcano. The island also boasts tide pools and natural steam vents, as well as numerous beaches and state parks that overlook the ocean. Glampers can also go scuba diving, snorkeling, or boating with equipment able to be purchased from the nearest town or through organized tours. Guests can also try the local cuisine in Pahoa, or shop in the farmer’s market and boutiques around the town center.
