This cottage is located on the Hilo side of the island, in the upscale Puna Beach Palisades subdivision across from black sand, clothes-optional Kehena Beach. This 370 squae-foot cottage comes with a kitchenette and s located away from the street and behind the owner's house on a half-acre lot. Located off the beaten path, along the Kalapana-Kapoho "The Red Road" scenic byway, guests will be just minutes away from Kalapana, Kapoho, swimming at the warm ponds, and snorkeling at the tidepools.

For an off-the-beaten path experience that is still so quintessentially old-style Hawaii, this tropical one-bedroom cottage rental can be found near Kehena Beach in Pahoa, Hawaii. The bedroom has a queen-size bed with a double air mattress available, sleeping a maximum of two people, and all linens are provided. There is a separate bathroom with a toilet and a shower.

The fully-equipped kitchen has all guests need to prepare their meals and the dining area can seat up to four people. The kitchen includes all utensils and a microwave, a toaster, a two-burner, portable stove top, an electric tea kettle, a coffeemaker, a blender, and an electric indoor grill. Guests will also have access to free Wi-Fi and free local and domestic long-distance calls.

The guesthouse is smoke-free, pet-free, and cleaned and supplied with organic natural products containing essential oils for the comfort of those with allergies. This studio (with bath) has one queen-size bed, a separate bathroom with a large indoor shower, and a fully-equipped kitchenette with a small refrigerator (under the counter). Additionally, there is a microwave, a toaster, and a two-burner portable electric stove-top. Guests will also enjoy having a blender, a toaster-oven, a Foreman electric grill, a teakettle, and a coffeemaker.

Anything else guests may need is available on request.

The cottage shares an outdoor shower with the main house and is great for washing off sand after a long day at the beach. There is also outdoor seating with a table and chairs.
