The accommodation is open to the elements with beautiful views but is screened in to keep mosquitoes and bugs out. The screens do not keep geckos out, but they are harmless. To avoid gecko droppings, the host puts a painting drop cloth over all beds to maintain cleanliness of bedding and towels until the guest's arrival. This is typically placed under the bed while guests are staying, allowing guests to cover the bed while they are out during the day. Read more
