This sustainable off-grid cottage is located on an organic farm on Hawaii's Big Island and can accommodate two guests. There is one king-size bed within this cabin and beautiful painted murals on the rustic wood walls. The cabin walls have screens making up half of them, meaning the gentle Hawaiian breeze can flow through at all hours of the day. The king-size bed can also be arranged into two twin beds if necessary. Requests can be made with the host beforehand for this arrangement. Guests will have access to a shared shower and toilet facility near the cabin that boasts hot water and privacy.

There is a small outdoor kitchen for guests, along with fresh water, and a cooler with ice, which is complimentary. There is no electricity in this cabin, however, guests will have access to the main lodge on the property which offers electricity, internet access, and a kitchen. A day is well spent wandering the Red Road to the black sand beach at Kalapana and back to picnic at recently renovated Issac Hale Beach Park. Great landmarks are located nearby such as Kilauea, the world's most active volcano. This volcano is a safe and convenient 45-minute drive away, and glampers better have their cameras ready, because rainbows are a very common occurrence here in Hawaii.

This property generates all of its own power through solar panels and stores it in batteries throughout the property. The hosts ask guests to conserve energy, especially overnight and in the early morning. Guests are asked never to use a hair dryer or any other high-voltage devices. Lights should be turned off when not in use, and fans shouldn't be left on continuously. This property is unable to accept overnight medical devices.
