This location is ideal for those who just want to relax and unwind. Within easy reach of the property, there are the Ramashala and the Kalani Honua yoga retreats, and nearby Kehena Beach is the perfect place to meditate and disconnect. The beach is also suitable for swimming when the ocean is calm. Glampers who like to snorkel will enjoy the Kapoho tide pools, 11 miles from the property, and keen surfers can get their fix at Isaac Hale Beach Park, a 20-minute drive away, although it's important to check the conditions before entering the water, as the south shore of Big Island is known for its strong currents.

The Big Island is best known for its stunning natural beauty, and there are many ways to appreciate this within easy reach of the property. An hour's drive away is the breathtaking Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, where visitors can hike, bike, and spot local wildlife, including fascinating birds, carnivorous caterpillars, the largest dragonfly in the United States, endangered sea turtles, and bats.

The Big Island is considered the golfing Mecca of Hawaii, with 20 diverse and challenging courses, and is also known as the sport fishing capital of Hawaii. Glampers will be able to take a chartered fishing tour from Hilo, where they'll also have the chance to go dolphin watching.

Just two miles from the property, guests will find SPACE, which is home to a fabulous farmers market each Saturday. On Sundays, there is another great market, in nearby Keaau. Also on a Sunday, those who wish to take part in some fun and social events can enjoy an "ecstatic dance" session at Kalani, or a drum circle at Kehena Beach.
