Boulder Creek

Boulder Creek, California was once an integral part in the San Lorenzo Valley Logging Flume. This old lumber town in central California is now the gateway to Big Basin Redwoods State Park. Established in 1902, this park has over 81 miles of trails and acres of old growth forest to explore on foot or mountain bike. It’s home to the largest contiguous stand of ancient coast redwoods south of San Francisco. You’ll see waterfalls, abundant wildlife, and tons of ancient redwood trees. Not far from Santa Cruz, surfers will be able to enjoy the big waves of the Pacific Ocean, and beach lovers can soak up the sunshine.
