In Yolo County, there's always something to do. For an authentic farm experience, guests can check out many local farmer's markets—like the Davis Farmers Market, touted as one of the best markets in the nation. Glampers can also schedule tours of several different farms in the area, an activity that would be especially great if guests are traveling with children. Hiking and biking are a lovely way for guests to enjoy the many acres of parks and conservancies in the area. But, for a truly unique point of view, guests can schedule a tour with Yolo Ballooning Adventures to explore the countryside from a hot air balloon.
For a quintessential farm-to-table dining experience, foodies can check out the Taste of Yolo Restaurant during the week of January 22nd through the 28th, where featured restaurants create signature dishes using fresh and local ingredients. Not to be upstaged, the wine and craft beer scene is just as vibrant in the area. There's something for nearly every palate and preference!
