Lake City

Originally settled during the California Gold Rush in 1853, Lake City, California is small town in close proximity to tons of outdoor adventure. Located in the upper northeast corner of the state along the Nevada and Oregon borders, glampers can post up here while spending their days exploring the surrounding wilderness. Upper Alkali Lake is a great place to go fishing, boating, and swimming in the summer. On the other side of town is Goose Lake, extending across the Oregon border. To the west is Modoc National Forest, featuring diverse terrain from lakes to lava beds to meadows to mountains. The beautiful scenery is great for exploring on foot, mountain bike, or horseback.
