This luxurious glamping caboose near Yosemite National Park can sleep four people. The rental has two stories: a main level and a loft area. On the main floor, there is a sitting area, a kitchenette, and a queen-size bed. The kitchenette includes a refrigerator and freezer, a microwave, a toaster, and a coffeemaker.
In the loft, there is another sleeping area, accessed by a ladder. Glampers will also find a jetted bathtub in the full bathroom. The 300-square-foot deck is perfect for waking up on in the morning and relaxing on at night, and it includes a barbecue for grilling out and outdoor furniture for dining al fresco. There is also a television in the glamping accommodation that has satellite TV and a DVD player. The glamping property itself is only 20 minutes from the entrance to Yosemite National Park. This site is situated on five acres of property in the Sierra Foothills, right outside of Oakhurst. Oakhurst is only 14 miles south of the entrance to Yosemite National Park and a local company in Oakhurst does Discover Yosemite sightseeing tours for visitors to this grand natural attraction. Glampers will find Oakhurst close to the major city of Fresno, less than an hour away. Fresno is the fifth largest city in the entire state of California, and it’s major attractions are Yosemite National Park, the Forestiere Underground Gardens, and Woodward Park. The city also holds many annual festivals and events, such as Rogue Festival and the Fresno Film Festival.
The lowest average temperatures in Fresno don’t reach below freezing, and highs in the peak of summer hit almost 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Oakhurst, on the other hand, experiences colder winters than Fresno, dipping just below freezing, and the average highest temperature in summer sits around the low 90s. Read More
