The seven miles of soft, sandy beach in Rockaway Beach invite beachcombing, sunset watching, and tidal pool exploration. Rockaway has a variety of shops (antique, sweets, souvenirs) and restaurants to enjoy. Guests can take the Heisler type steam locomotive to the coastal town of Garibaldi, which boasts the longest pier in Oregon (700 feet in length), seafood markets, and restaurants. There are spectacular hikes at Neah-Kah-Nie Mountain, Short Sands, Kilches Point Reserve, and Munson Creek Falls. The Three Capes Scenic Route is the perfect way to experience the scenic Tillamook Coastline—this short 40-mile coastal drive showcases some of the most majestic natural landscapes that the Oregon coast has to offer.
