Terrebonne is a small place in central Oregon, which is home to a unique and diverse natural landscape, which differs hugely to the green, forested, mountain land that encompasses much of the rest of the state. It is a place defined by jagged, orange rock formations, which punctuate the land surrounding it. Yet, there are also a number of waterfalls, wineries, and small lakes which boast some stunning scenery. It is this diversity which makes it so popular among campers, and you can find many trails dotted around the area. Follow the Misery Ridge Trail to see the rock formations as you hike, and try rock climbing at Smith Rock State Park. in summer, you can go wild swimming and fishing at Cline Falls State Scenic Viewpoint.
