Discover the Cozy Charm of Autumn and Winter

As the vibrant hues of summer fade, the cottage transforms into a serene retreat, perfect for embracing the quiet beauty of the autumn and winter months. While Semiahmoo rarely experiences snow and temperatures only occasionally dip below freezing, the crisp air and peaceful surroundings create the ideal setting for a tranquil escape.

Cottage Highlights:

Warm and Inviting Décor: Step inside to find beachy décor complemented by cozy autumnal touches. The two front bedrooms, with comfortable queen beds, offer stunning views of the bay, where the calm waters reflect the muted colors of fall and winter skies. The sunsets, framed by these west-facing windows, paint the horizon with soft shades of pink and gold. The third bedroom, located in the back of the house, features a double bed, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploration.

Open Concept Living Space: Gather with loved ones in the open living area, where the massive windows continue to offer breathtaking views of the water. The living room’s sliding glass door opens to a spacious yard, where you can savor the crisp air by the fire pit or grill up a meal on the propane barbecue. Although the days are shorter, the peaceful ambiance of the season invites slow mornings and cozy evenings.

Easy Beach Access & Scenic Walks: A community path beside the cottage leads to the beach, perfect for serene walks during low tide, with miles of shoreline to explore. Whether you’re watching for birds or simply enjoying the rhythmic sound of the waves, the cooler months bring their own special tranquility. The path also makes it easy to launch a kayak or canoe and experience the water from a whole new perspective—just check the weather and tides beforehand.

Work and Relaxation Combined: For those who need to stay productive during their getaway, the dedicated office space offers reliable internet and a desk with a view, blending work with the calming influence of nature.

Seasonal Experiences Around Semiahmoo: Semiahmoo in autumn and winter is a haven for peaceful walks, bird watching, and exploration. Walk, bike, or drive to take in the stunning views of Birch Bay, the Canadian border, and the surrounding islands. A short drive to the charming nearby towns of Blaine and Birch Bay offers cozy cafés and restaurants where you can warm up after your outdoor adventures.
