This amazing beachfront cabin and annex are secluded on the west shore of Herron Island, a tiny private island in South Puget Sound, situated about 90 minutes from Seattle. It can only be accessed by a 10-minute voyage on a private ferry. The island is truly tranquil—there are no shops or restaurants—meaning guests will experience a level of peace and quiet that is hard to match anywhere else. Glampers can enjoy all that Herron Island has to offer and should respect the neighbor's rights to do the same. Guests should be respectful of the neighbor's peace, privacy, and property.

Glampers will enjoy unobstructed ocean, island, and mountain views. The sunsets are spectacular all year long and guests can watch for resident deer, eagles, herons, seals, and porpoises. The location on the west shore is one of the best Orca sighting spots on the island. A short walk down the stairs will bring guests right to their own beach.

This island is a great place to spend a glamping holiday. It is private and secluded, making it a great place to relax and feel away from it all. The water is very calm and an early morning paddle is a fantastic way to start the day. The water can get fairly warm in the summer and excellent for swimming and floating.

The calm waters make for some of the best kayaking and paddle boarding guests will find anywhere. A leisurely walk along the sand or inland on the island is a great way to enjoy the lovely surroundings. There are outdoor basketball and pickleball courts, swings, and a play area, as well as a baseball field at the community center at the top of the island.
