This amazing beachfront cabin can be found in a secluded spot on the eastern shore of Herron Island. It is a tiny private island in south Puget Sound, located about 90 minutes from Seattle. It can only be accessed by a 10-minute voyage on our private ferry (we'll send you a guest pass). The island is truly tranquil—there are no shops or restaurants—meaning guests will experience a level of peace and quiet that is hard to match anywhere else.
The porch offers an unobstructed ocean view. Watch for resident deer, eagles, herons, seals, and porpoises. If guests are lucky, they'll see the Orca whales who have been visiting the island in ever increasing numbers. A short walk down the stairs will bring guests to their own private beach. Read More

This island is a great place to spend a glamping holiday. It is private and secluded, making it a great place to relax and feel away from it all. The water is very calm and an early morning paddle is a fantastic way to start the day. The water is fairly warm in the summer and excellent for swimming and floating. If guests have their own boat they can moor it at the public dock on North Beach (during summer only, 24-hour limit) or hook up to the buoy on our private beach (contact me first to make arrangements for mooring your own boat). The calm waters make for some of the best water skiing, tubing, and boarding. A leisurely walk along the sand or inland on the island is a great way to enjoy the lovely surroundings. There are outdoor basketball and pickle ball courts, swings, and a play area, as well as a baseball field at the community center at the top of the island. Gas BBQ and outdoor gas fire table are available for your use year round.
