Location + Surroundings
This amazing beachfront cabin can be found in a secluded spot on the eastern shore of Herron Island. It is a tiny private island in south Puget Sound, located about 90 minutes from Seattle. It can only be accessed by a 10-minute voyage on the private ferry (the hosts will send a guest pass). The island is truly tranquil—there are no shops or restaurants—meaning guests will experience a level of peace and quiet that is hard to match anywhere else. Glampers can enjoy all that Herron Island has to offer and should respect the neighbor's rights to do the same. Guests should be respectful of the neighbor's peace, privacy, and property.
The porch offers an unobstructed ocean view and guests can watch for resident deer, eagles, herons, seals, and porpoises. If guests are lucky, they'll see the orca whales who have been visiting the island in ever-increasing numbers. A short walk down the stairs will bring guests to their own private beach. Read More
