This cottage is located in Langley, Washington and offers a unique getaway for two guests. This glamping site features a unique seafaring theme and has a double bed and a map of Whidbey Island on the wall, The open bathroom has a vanity, a sink, a mirror, and a jacuzzi in front of a garden window with a large ship´s wheel on the wall. There is a separate half-bathroom which includes a toilet. Linens, a hair dryer, towels, and plush robes are provided.
The living area has a TV, a DVD player, an iPod and a CD player, and two armchairs in front of a cozy fireplace. Wi-Fi is available. The cabin also comes with a refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker, and an indoor dining table for two. Outside, guests can enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at the table for two on their private lattice-enclosed deck.
There is a guest parlor with a river-rock fireplace and is filled with antiques and original artwork. French doors lead to the main dining room, which features a water view and hand-painted murals of the four seasons. Guests can enjoy delicious gourmet breakfasts that include treats like eggs Benedict, eggs Florentine, three cheese omelets, Dutch baby pancakes, and fresh home-baked goods including ginger scones, cranberry muffins, and much more. Guests can enjoy breakfast in the main dining room or al fresco on their own private deck. Guests will feel at home with amenities such as a cozy fireplace, a TV, a DVD and VCR player, a CD player, and a video library with over 200 titles to choose from. Wi-Fi is available. Outside, there are beautiful gardens with plenty of seating and a charming gazebo.

The village of Langley by the Sea is the place to be on Whidbey Island during all four seasons. Just a four-minute walk from the cottage, guests will find five art galleries with beautiful originals, antiques, and a variety of shops with tempting collectibles. Sweet Monas Chocolates offers a wonderful selection of handmade treats and delicious gelato. Langley's antique stores have lots of goodies and antique furniture. "In the Country" is a shop with a very tasteful selection of almost everything. A visit to the farmer's market on the weekends is a must. For after dinner entertainment, guests can take in a performance at the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts. It's about 120 steps from the cottage. The Clyde Theater in town shows fairly current movies for only $6.00.
Guests can taste the local wine at the Whidbey Island Winery on Langley Road about a mile away. The tasting room at Bayview Corner and several others are great spots to try local wines too. Greenbank Farm, about 20 minutes up the road from the cottage, serves a delicious selection of wines and liqueurs. Guests can spend an afternoon at Meerkerk Rhododendron Gardens and enjoy hundreds of varieties of flowers and colors. There are opportunities to play tennis at South Whidbey High School nearby or at Dan Porter Park on Deer Lake Road.
