This site is located approximately 1.5 miles from the park entrance. It is a wooded, shady hike-in campsite (approximately 250 hike-in). This double campsite is great for families, two couples, or a group of friends as it can accommodate up to 12 campers. There are two safari platform tents, each with a queen bed, and 2 pop-up tents which can accommodate up to 8 additional campers. Picnic tables, 2 firepits, and four Adirondack chairs are also included. Campers will have access to modern bathhouses for showers and restroom facilities. And, if the temperature dips, you can keep warm with the propane heater inside the main platform tents.

Other Things to Note:
Check-in is at 3 pm. Beds in the canvas tents have memory foam mattresses but be sure to bring your own bedding, food, and firewood. Pop-up tent comes packed. No running water at this site but a 5-gallon water jug is provided. Anything you pack in, you must pack out. Trash must be thrown away in the designated dumpster at the end of your stay. All sites are inspected for damages and cleanliness after each use and before the next renter. Failure to follow these guidelines can result in a minimum cleaning fee of $50. A Mississippi fishing license is required for all people between the ages of 16 and 65. A license may be purchased at the park office for a nominal fee. A boat launch ramp and trailer parking are provided in the park.
