This secluded cabin in the woods is located near Ouachita National Forest, Oklahoma, and can accommodate eight guests for a getaway full of tranquility and reconnection to the great outdoors. Set by the bank of the Black Fork River and situated on a 40-acre property bordered by the national forest to the north and the south, the cabin's natural setting is reflected by its rustic interior, which features a variety of wooden surfaces and outdoor-themed decor.
Inside the cabin, guests will find a sleeping loft overlooking a living/dining room, a fully-equipped kitchen, and one full bathroom. Accessed by a wooden ladder, the loft is split into two sides, each of which is furnished with one full-size bed and one twin bed. In the living area, guests will also find a sleeper sofa, along with a pair of leather armchairs. The bathroom is fitted with a vessel sink, a toilet, and a shower. Linens and towels are provided.
For dining, guests can choose between a bistro-style table and a breakfast bar. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with an oven, a stove, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a side-by-side refrigerator with an ice maker. Other amenities include air conditioning, a wood-burning stove, and a washer and dryer.
Outside, guests will find a covered deck, a back porch, a gas barbecue grill, a fire pit, hammocks, and a hot tub.

Highlights of the forest include the 225-mile Ouachita National Recreation Trail, a long mineral belt with large deposits of quartz crystals, the Talimena Scenic Drive (a National Scenic Byway), and two wilderness areas containing old-growth forests: the Black Fork Mountain Wilderness and the Upper Kiamichi River Wilderness.
The cabin is about two and a half hours from Tulsa, where the nearest international airport is located.

While exploring the forest, guests will enjoy many opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife viewing, with species such as deer, squirrels, chipmunks, black bears, wild turkeys, and bald eagles to be spotted. Rockhounds can also keep an eye out for the quartz crystals that are deposited in the more mountainous areas of the forest. There's something for everyone to enjoy their Oklahoma vacation!
