The town of Sewanee is about an hour from both Chattanooga and Murfreesboro, in the opposite direction, where glampers will find ample to do, see, and experience along the way. Nashville International Airport is approximately 89 miles from Sewanee.

Sewanee, Tennessee, is home to the University of the South and attracts visitors year-round with plenty to see, do, and experience in the surrounding area. For the nature enthusiasts, the University perimeter trail provides 20 miles of trails for hiking or biking and is steps from the cottage door. The Mountain Goat Trail connects Sewanee and the town of Monteagle. There are several other incredible hiking areas to explore on the Cumberland Plateau-FIery Gizzard Trail, the Stone Door, and Foster Falls.
For photo opportunities, glampers can head to Sewanee Natural Bridge, Greens View, or Morgans Steep where they snap a few happy pictures of the stunning natural beauty of the area. Chattanooga is about an hour away and is set along the Tennessee River in the Appalachian Mountains and offers waterfalls, hiking trails with scenic views points, and Civil War battle sites, sure to be the perfect day trip.
