Description of Glamping Units
There are two log cabins at this glamping property, The Behrends Cabin, which sleeps up to four guests, and The Braeutigam Cabin, which can sleep up to six guests. Both log cabins are two-story accommodations that each have two bedrooms and are roughly 1,200 to 1,300 square feet in size.
The floors are, alternatively, stained concrete and wood, and both are decorated in a style that is a mixture of Mexican, American Indian, and pioneer. Each comes with modern appliances, including in the fully equipped kitchens, a dining area, and a spacious front porch with panoramic views of the farm and surrounding area.
Both cabins come with a television with a DVD player, as well as a radio and CD player with an iPod dock. There is not, however, cable or satellite television, telephones, nor Internet service, however. They do receive a strong cell signal, for guests who’d like to bring their cellular devices along.
The Behrends Cabin is the smaller of the two cabins. It has a lofted space where the master bedroom is located, which overlooks the living room, dining area, and fireplace, as well as another bedroom on the main floor. There is also a bathroom on the first floor.
The Braeutigam Cabin is the larger of the two cabins, with two full bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs). This glamping property is located on a 170-acre farm, which is home to a variety of livestock. On-site there is a butcher's which sell their own meats from the farm and ranch and a delightful farmer's market.
There is a three-night minimum stay on holiday weekends that must include the preceding Friday. The daily rental price listed for both cabins is for a weekend stay. Daily rental price for a weekday stay (Monday through Wednesday) is from $175 to $195.
For smoking guests, smoking is only permitted outside on the front porch of the accommodation, and the hosts ask guests to please be conscious of dry conditions when smoking. Read More

Fredericksburg lies in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. It is well known for its distinctive sub-dialect of Texas German, because of its history of German settlement, which gave the area its charming and unique character. Fredericksburg may be a small town, but there are plenty of attractions and activities for glamping visitors, because of its thriving tourist industry and fabulous hills!
There are over two dozen wineries, two breweries and a number of tasting rooms for oenophiles, two breweries. Fredericksburg is also home to historic sites like the Lyndon B. Johnson State Park and the Museum of the Pacific War. The ranch offers deer and turkey hunting packages, to guests renting farm stay accommodations. Guided hunts can even be arranged with advance notice.
Staying on this farm means not only stunning views of the surrounding Texas Hill Country but also the opportunity to hike and bike the property’s trails and watch the farm’s livestock go about their day. Glampers will also see many different types of local flora and fauna, especially great for birdwatching. Hunting for whitetail and axis deer and turkeys is also an on-site option.
