Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay on the Llano River. You are just 10 min. to the Castell Store and 10min. to Coopers BBQ in Llano, TX. This spacious house will sleep 8 comfortably but if you have more people bring them along. We don't mind if you want to sleep on the couch or on the floor. Perfect for a family vacation, couples retreat, friends get together. Walk down to the water and fish in the amazing fishing hole, go kayaking or just chill in the water. The house has a full kitchen, firepit with grill outside, hammock, outdoor furniture and a patio for your use. There is another house next door that sleeps 2 people.

Here is a little info on the Castell General Store! Built in 1927 by the local blacksmith, this general store in the blink-and-you'll-miss-it town of Castell is your the perfect pit stop on your kayaking trip down the Llano River. Rent your kayak here and then pick up some groceries, cold drinks, flyfishing or hunting supplies, or stop by on burger night every Friday and Saturday for some live music and shuffleboard. Don't miss annual events like the Gumbo Cookoff in December and the Testicle Festival in May, which are a testament to the freewheeling spirit of this quirky hidden gem.
