Brevard County, Florida, is nicknamed the Space Coast - it's home to the Kennedy Space Center. , gets its nickname as Florida's Space Coast. Any glampers interested in space should take the opportunity to visit the center, to take a tour of the launch area, or experience a short training session in the center's flight simulators, or even meet an astronaut. But there's so much more to the county than just NASA, such as the stunning Cocoa Beach, a fantastic spot for fishing, swimming and sunbathing. There is also a staggering 72 miles of coastline along the Canaveral National Seashore. It's also not far from the lovely Oklawaha River, Lake Griffin, Ocala National Forest, and the Harris Chain of Lakes - all ideal for exploring.
