This elegant, beachfront villa on the Gulf of Mexico in Mantosa Key, Florida, is luxuriously decorated for the ultimate comfort of guests staying on the property. Each of the five bedrooms is furnished with either a king-size or queen-size bed, accompanied by a mountain of plush pillows and a soft down comforter. The rooms have armoires, desks, and lush green plants to accent the cream and taupe theme, with large glass windows offering views of the gulf.
On the main floor, two large sofas face the television on the opposite wall, with a cozy leather armchair to the side and a large coffee table in the middle for snacks and drinks while watching films. The kitchen is spacious and airy, with a white tile floor and light wood cabinets and a curving, marble island with some bar stools.
There is a dining room table that seats eight before the large glass floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, which lead to the covered porch with two additional wicker tables looking out at the ocean. The deck in front of this porch has reclinable beach chairs, with another set of sliding doors leading to the second living room, where guests will find another television and set of sofas and arm chairs. The villa is located on a long stretch of private beach surrounded by trees in picturesque Mantosa Key, on the west coast of Florida between Lemon Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. From the expansive property, guests are afforded stunning views of the brilliant blue waters of the gulf and the white sand beaches just outside the front door. Just a few miles' drive in any direction, guests will find many of the preserved wildlife areas that surrounded Mantosa Key, from Stump Pass Beach State Park to Amberjack Environmental Park and Don Pedro Island State Park on the mainland. The community of Englewood is only 15 minutes away from the villa as well, with an array of restaurants and small shops for guests to choose from, including a winery and the local farmer's market. In the villa itself, guests can eat meals on the enclosed front porch with views in the ocean, or relax in front of a movie in the living room's home theater. Comb the beach for shark teeth, sunbathe, or swim in the gulf. On Mantosa Key, guests can also rent kayaks, jet skis, or paddle boards to take out at sea for the day. Glampers can also book boat tours or fishing trips, or go play golf at Jacaranda West Country Club. Venice Fishing Pier is perfect for watching the sunset, and Stump Pass Beach State Park is a great location for viewing Florida wildlife while gazing toward the other keys.
In Englewood, there are more opportunities for booking fishing charters or wildlife tours. The small town also has a medley of restaurants, including fresh seafood options, as well as the weekly Englewood Farmers Market. Lemon Bay Park or the surrounding environmental parks have a few trails for wandering through the forest and plenty of space for having a picnic under the sun.
