Description of Glamping Units
This rustic cabin on a ranch near Ocala National Forest in central Florida can accommodate five guests, though a sixth will be considered on special occasions. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with a full-size bed, as well as an ensuite bathroom featuring 100-year-old clawfoot bathtubs. There is also a small cot for a child or a teenager.
In the living room area, there is a sofa bed and a library filled with books for glampers to read throughout their stay. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with everything guests will need to make delicious, home-cooked meals throughout their stay. There is a cafe on-site, where guests can enjoy delicious food and take home some home-made preserves. There is a general store just three minutes from the glamping property, where guests can pick up groceries and any other last-minute items they may have forgotten. In addition, there are a number of local restaurants not far from the accommodations for guests to dine out at, too.

Location + Surroundings
This glamping property is situated along the border of the Ocala National Forest, right outside of Fort McCoy, in central Florida. The Ocala National Forest isn't the only natural beauty around, however. Other outdoor attractions in the area include the Ocklawaha River, Juniper Springs, Devils Den Springs, Blue Grotto Springs, Salt Springs Recreational Area, and The Greenway Trail.
Gainesville is the closest larger city to Fort McCoy and would make for the perfect destination for a fun day trip for glampers. In Gainesville, travelers will find local attractions, such as the Butterfly Rainforest, the Florida Museum of Natural History, the Samuel P. Harn Museum of Art, Kanapaha Botanical Gardens, Devil's Millhopper Geological State Park, and Ichetucknee Springs State Park. Read More
