This astonishing and historic floating chapel turned luxurious houseboat rental is ideal for glampers who appreciate amazing architecture. The houseboat can be found in a marina on the Manatee River near Sarasota in Palmetto, Florida, and boasts a shared swimming pool. Built in 2004 for over a million dollars, this houseboat rental was originally constructed as a wedding chapel that held 110 guests. There are only two that have built in the world, and the other can be found in Australia. All of the original stained glass windows have been preserved and the 19-foot ceilings only heighten this private rental's impressive design and structure.

With the ability to accommodate up to four guests comfortably, this houseboat rental features two bedrooms including one which is situated in the converted loft at the top of the house. Each bedroom features a queen-sized bed and high-end linens and towels. The sleeping loft can be reached via a modern spiral staircase and features a sitting area which is perfect for catching up on a good book. There are two bathrooms in this luxury houseboat rental, each elegantly furnished with a shower, toilet, and vanity sinks—short terms rentals in this area won't come much better than this for affordable prices.

As guests make their way into the great room, they will encounter the stately kitchen, dining, and living areas. The comfort of the living area in this houseboat rental will be much appreciated after a long day at the beach. Featuring a ceiling fan, comfortable reclining chairs, and flat-screen television, guests will also be able to put their feet up and watch a film with the other guests in the property.

Those who love to cook will enjoy preparing meals in the open full kitchen with gorgeous granite countertops. The kitchen features state-of-the-art appliances such as a stove, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, and a coffee maker, as well as essential cookware, dishes, and cutlery. Meals can be enjoyed inside on the four-person dining table which is at the social heart of this houseboat rental.

Outside, there is a deck where guests can enjoy a morning cup of coffee in the sunshine. A barbecue grill can also be found on the deck and can be used to prepare meals as well. The marina has a shared swimming pool that guests can access, and upon arrival, the host will give guests the key.
