Douglasville is located in Douglas County, 20 miles from Atlanta. Its Central Business District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places because of its diverse styled architecture. Points of interest include The Douglas County Museum of History and Art, and Champ's Clock Shop and Museum's. Hunter Park offers festivals, sports, and other recreation while Sweetwater Creek State Park is a great place to take part in plenty of outdoor activities.
