This family-friendly suite is located above a barn and horse stables on a historic 4,000-acre property in near Moultrie in southern Georgia. The suite is furnished with four sets of twin bunk beds, each topped with a cozy comforter and pillows, so it can easily accommodate eight guests at a time. The rental has two full bathrooms with marble-top sinks, standing showers, and a rack full of warm towels and linens.

The main room has an inviting layout which includes two long cushioned sofas, armchairs, coffee tables, a flat-screen TV, cable, and Wi-Fi connection allowing guests to stretch out and watch a movie after a long day exploring the lodge and the landscape surrounding Moultrie, Georgia. Other handy amenities include a microwave, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, and a hairdryer.

Guests can also walk out the front door and arrive at the main lodge or the train depot bar within a few minutes on foot.

Most of the accommodations are furnished with a small kitchenette, including a microwave, a refrigerator, a coffeemaker, and a toaster. There is satellite television and ensuite bathrooms in every bedroom. The main lodge serves meals in the dining room, and there is a furnished screened-in porch with tables and chairs.

Glampers will find plenty to do without leaving the vast property, from shooting skeet on the range behind the main lodge and hunting quail on the 4,000 acres of land to riding horses on one of the trails extending into the woods of southern Georgia. The main lodge is elegantly and comfortably outfitted for nights playing games or talking to other guests in front of the roaring fire, with a network of walking paths meandering across the lawns for those who enjoy an afternoon stroll.

Visitors could also head into Moultrie for a meal in town or to wander through the streets’ many galleries and shops, passing the historic 1902 courthouse along the way. The Calico Arts and Crafts show is open throughout the year as well, showcasing the work of over 300 local artisans. Glampers can also play a round of golf at Sunset Country Club or visit the Ellen Payne Odom Genealogy Library for a look through the area’s familial legacies.
