THE BACKYARD

Our waterside backyard was designed for outdoor entertaining, romantic couples' getaways, and starry nights. The outdoor kitchen features a large stainless steel propane gas grill and a mini fridge. There are grilling utensils and enough space to chop, prep, and prepare meals at the granite countertop. The dining table seats up to six comfortably, and an umbrella is available for more shade. Complimentary firewood sourced from right on the property!

THE COCKTAIL POOL & HOT TUB
Just in time for summer, our oversized hot tub does double duty — cool it down for a refreshing cocktail/plunge pool experience or turn the heat up and enjoy it as a traditional hot tub!

As a cocktail pool, it's perfect for slipping & dipping, beating the summer heat, and snapping insta-worthy pics while sipping a cocktail, mocktail, or chilled infused water. It's also great for low-impact water exercise, though not ideal for laps or Marco Polo.

Guests are welcome to adjust the temperature to their liking — crank it up to 104 degrees on cool Georgia fall and winter nights, or keep it refreshingly cool during the summer months. Your choice!

We’re off the Georgia Wine Highway, so you can spend the afternoon at some of Northeast Georgia's best vineyards: Creekside Winery, Habersham Winery, and Sautee Nacoochee Vineyard.

For history buffs, head to Historic Hardman Farm. Outdoor lovers have hiking options galore, including 12 waterfalls and National Parks—Desoto Falls, Unicoi State Park, and Anna Ruby Falls.

Even the creature comforts of "big city" life are nearby—Starbucks, Walmart, and Dairy Queen are just 20 minutes away.

For wine lovers, you’ll be happy to know that we’re on the Georgia Wine Highway. That’s right, you’ll be in North Georgia Wine Country just minutes from the best vineyard tours and wine tastings.

When you’re done hiking at one of the many state parks close by, water sports await. Head over to the pristine gorgeous blue waters of Lakes Burton, Seed, and Rabun for a variety of boating, jet skiing, and sailing activities, all within a quick 20-minute drive from the cabin.

When you stay at Peacock Parc Creekside Cabin it does feel like you're a world's away in far off remote location, but in reality, you're close to it all. Even Starbucks is 15 minutes away!

Check the Lyft and Uber for pickup times. Public transportation is not available. Once at the a-frame cedar log cabin, you'll find ample parking for up to 4 large SUVs/Trucks , sedans/mini-vans.

GETTING TO THE CABIN
You will need to drive through the babbling brook to enter the subdivision. We suggest driving an SUV, minivan, or Truck. See photo 44 in our listing.

You'll be within a short 8-mile drive from all the appetizing restaurants, action, attractions, and outdoor adventure that the quaint Bavarian town of Helen, Georgia, has to offer. Boating activities on the pristine blue waters of Lakes Burton & Rabun are within 20 minutes.
