Shellman Bluff

Shellman Bluff is a charming former oystering community, with an authentic Southern charm, a relaxed atmosphere, and incredibly welcoming locals. There are numerous excellent restaurants and coffee houses in town, but the real beauty of Shellman's Bluff is its privileged location in the wilderness. It is close to the South Newport River, Sapelo Island, the Blackbeard Island National Wildlife Refuge, and Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge is also close by. Here glampers can go hiking, biking, fishing, boating, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, hunting and much more. And all of this is a mere hour and a half drive from Jacksonville, Florida, and half hour from Savannah - so it's easy to get to!
