Description of Glamping Units
This charming, pet-friendly Alpine vacation rental is situated near Boone, North Carolina, and can accommodate up to six guests. There are three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a half bathroom in this picturesque two-level rental. On the upper level, guests will find the master bedroom, which has a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a toilet, a sink, a walk-in shower, and a bathtub.
The second and third bedrooms are located on the lower level of the rental and share a Jack and Jill bathroom with a combination bathtub and shower. The first bedroom has two twin-size beds and a TV while the second has a sleeper sofa and a TV. The half bathroom can be found on the main level of the rental and has a toilet and sink. Linens and towels are kindly provided by the host.
In the inviting living area, guests will find a buttery leather sofa and a plush armchair situated around a coffee table, a flat-screen cable TV, and a cozy stone gas fireplace. Guests will also have a stereo system with a CD player and a collection of books for entertainment. The kitchen is equipped with an array of cooking and serving utensils and all of the modern appliances guests might need to feel at home during their stay. Guests can enjoy meals on a barstool at the kitchen's granite island or gather around the formal dining table tucked in the corner.
Outside, guests will have two large deck areas equipped with a barbecue grill and steps that lead to the spacious backyard. Guests will be conveniently located less than one mile from the stunning Otter Falls and only two miles from the fun attractions at Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zipline. The property is surrounded by the enchanting forest landscapes of Pisgah National Forest and Cherokee National Forest, providing guests with access to a vast network of nature trails and outdoor recreation. During winter months, guests drive half an hour to Beech Mountain Ski Resort for a plethora of snow sports and activities.
Although the setting of this site is secluded and feels remote, guests will be approximately 20 minutes from dining options, shopping, family-friendly entertainment, and nightlife in the neighboring towns of Banner Elk and Boone. During warmer months, guests can explore the area's many nature trails on foot, rent a bicycle, go zip-lining through the treetops, or even book a horseback riding tour. Additionally, guests can take to the water for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, or a relaxing day of fishing. During winter, the landscape is transformed into a winter wonderland. Guests will have access to areas for skiing, snowboarding, and other snow sports such as snow tubing. Autumn is also an incredible time to visit as the fall foliage paints the landscape vibrant colors of red, orange, and yellow.
If guests are ready for a break from the great outdoors, they can head to the friendly mountain towns of Banner Elk and Boone. There are plenty restaurants, cafes, and pubs where guests can indulge in the delicious regional cuisine or browse for unique souvenirs. For a more bustling big-city vibe, guests can take a day trip to Asheville, located just over 90 minutes away.
