Within a short drive of the site, nature lovers will find plenty to explore with Crowders Mountain State Park and Lake Norman within 30 minutes. For those willing to venture further, they will reach the Pisgah and Nantahala National Forests in less than two hours which offer an array of activities and spectacular scenery.
