Guests can truly enjoy the great outdoors in all the glory of its four seasons when they stay at this property. This part of the North Carolina has a refreshing and rejuvenating spring, coveted cool breezes in the summer, spectacular fall foliage, and a blanket of snow in the winter. In the winter, guests staying here can go skiing or snowboarding only 15 miles away. The Appalachian Ski Mountain offers guests a variety of trails for all abilities and the chance for a day of family fun in the snow. Once the snow has melted, however, the mountains give way to acres upon acres of fantastic woodlands and great hiking and biking trails. Guests can spend their sunny days hiking or biking the trails in the Cherokee National Forest or the Julian Price National Park. Popular trails within the park include the Green Knob Trail, the Boone Fork Trail, and the Price Lake Trail. For guests looking for a more relaxed day during their visit, they can hop in the car and drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, where they can enjoy the beautiful mountain views and stunning panoramic vistas.
