Tree Top Cabin in Crumpler, North Carolina
This retreat is a camping cabin at The Cabins at Healing Springs, which has a live tree in the center of the octagon shaped cabin. Tucked up high on the hillside with a flight of stairs to the secluded entry deck that looks out into the woods and a charcoal BBQ for your use. This is a primitive camping cabin, a true "glamping" experience, it is a primitive camping cabin without electricity or an en-suite bathroom. It does have Air Conditioning and propane heat, but it is a camping cabin. Do you need power? We do have an optional Portable Power Station for your devices and light. You have access to an indoor "bathhouse" located close by that features a sink, shower (hot water!), and flush toilet. It is furnished with a plush memory foam mattress on a platform bed. We provide sheets, pillows, blankets, and bath towels for this cabin.

Our original cabins were built in 1901. Our Property, The Cabins at Healing Springs is on the National Register of Historic Places. Relax and enjoy our cabins located near West Jefferson, NC and a short distance from Grayson Highlands State Park and Mount Rogers National Recreation.

We offer "Self Check-In" for your convenience. We will leave a map with your name on it, along with your key or code, on the counter in the Lodge building. Your cabin will have heat/air on, if applicable, ready for your arrival. Check-in starts at 4 p.m. We can accommodate early check-ins for an additional charge if pre-arranged. Check-out is by 11 a.m.
All of our cabins are <b>NON-SMOKING/VAPING of ANY kind</b>. You are welcome to smoke outdoors, away from doors and windows. Please <u>avoid</u> additional fees. We do not allow candles or incense in our cabins.
We do allow clean, quiet, and well-behaved dogs in some specific cabins with advance notice. Our dog fee is only $20 per night, per dog. Please let us know prior to your arrival if you would like to bring your dog(s). We love dogs, but we do NOT love dogs on the bed or furniture. Please AVOID additional fees, <b>DO <u>NOT</u> ALLOW YOUR DOG ON THE BED OR FURNITURE!</b>
If your travel plans change and you must cancel or change, please notify us 14 days prior to your arrival. There will be a $25 processing fee. If you choose to cancel or postpone with less than 14 days notice, please understand that you will forfeit your deposit. No cancellations due to weather or the New River conditions. In the unlikely event that you must cancel the day of check-in, are a no show, shorten your stay, or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. By booking, you accept us charging the card put on file for any charges, e.g., store purchases, for the duration of your stay. We are not responsible or liable for the loss of use of these funds or any overdraft charges. A driver's license, credit or debit card must be presented upon check-in.
