
Charming Yurt Getaway on the Edge of the Nantahala Forest, North Carolina
This peaceful and charming yurt is located in Cullowhee, North Carolina, on the edge of the Nantahala National Forest. It can provide up to three guests with a unique getaway, with its queen-size bed along with one air mattress. Towels and linens are kindly provided by the host.
Two nightstands along with a table chairs are available for guests to use as needed. There is electricity and lamps for quiet evenings inside. There is also a microwave and a small refrigerator for the basic essentials.
Outside there is a beautiful deck with unparalleled views of the surrounding wilderness. A picnic table with patio umbrella makes for a great lunch spot on sunny days. A shared 144-square-foot bathhouse is nearby and has a sink, a toilet, and a shower.
This wilderness yurt offers free parking on the premises, as well as a host to greet you. There is heating in the yurt, as well as hot water. There is an outdoor fire pit for guests to enjoy, as well as private riverfront access to the Tuckasegee River.

There, guests will find miles upon miles of hiking with popular hikes including Alum Cave, Rainbow Falls, and Chimney Tops. Wildlife viewing and wildflower enjoyment are also popular in the park.
