Dressed in natural textures and hardwood floors, the living room features a sunny yellow sofa and loveseat, a floral-print chair, and a television. Part of the Brunswick Islands, Holden Beach sits between the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) and the Atlantic Ocean. Guests will find an endless array of water-based activities that include swimming, surfing, fishing, paddleboarding, and kayaking, as well as birdwatching and nature viewing. The ICW is a great place to explore on a paddleboard or kayak.
Guests will want to visit Bald Head Island Conservancy for nature programs, kayaking, and birdwatching. Anglers can try to reel in dinner at the Holden Beach Fishing Pier. The Shallotte River Swamp Park has ropes courses, zip-lines, and eco-boat tours. Other attractions include the Museum of Coastal Carolina, the Oak Island Lighthouse, and the 1817 Old Baldy Lighthouse, which is North Carolina's oldest standing lighthouse.
