This romantic cabin is one of four properties that share 20 acres of land. The cabin has it's own private drive with fenced-in backyard, giving guests plenty of privacy away from the other cabins. It is centrally located to the popular tourist activities in Lake Lure, Mill Spring, and Chimney Rock.
Get lost in a book on the huge front covered porch, cook steaks on the charcoal grill, or dine in on the screened-in back porch. One complimentary bundle of firewood is provided for each night of your stay (to use at the fire pit). Extra wood bundles may be purchased directly from Carl.
The living room/kitchen area has a 50 inch smart Vizio tv. Netflix is provided, or guests may log into their own streaming apps to watch their favorite shows while eating at the kitchen bar.
The bedroom has a 43 inch smart TCL tv (Netflix is provided), comfortable queen bed with pillows, and a white noise machine to lull you to sleep. Minimal light shines through the closed blinds, ensuring guests can pleasantly rest throughout the morning.
With amenities like a well stocked kitchen, AC, hair dryer, and WiFi, you'll have most everything you need for a comfortable stay. The Lake Lure Ingles grocery store is conveniently located right down the road and is an easy stop to pick up charcoal if needed.
Excellent launching pad for exploring the charming towns of Mill Spring, Lake Lure, Columbus, Tryon, Saluda, as well as great for taking day trips to Asheville, Blowing Rock, Black Mountain, Hendersonville, and more!

During the summer months, guests should definitely head to Lake Lure. Spend the day splashing in the water and enjoy a picnic on the sandy beach.
Tryon International Equestrian Center is nearby, and is a world-renowned organization where guests can both watch equine competitions or try out riding. Parker-Binns Vineyard is a magnificent place to spend the afternoon, what could be better than drinking wine in an idyllic setting.
Closer to home, guests can also find entertainment. Guests don't have to venture far to enjoy a movie as they can make use of the home movie theater and popcorn machine in the basement. The croquet set, zip-line and horseshoe pits in the yard have also proven to be very popular with previous visitors. Those who simply want to relax after preparing a delicious barbecue can listen to the peaceful sounds of trickling water from the waterfall; whilst sipping on a glass of wine on the deck.

Children are welcome. Keep in mind the home is not child-proofed. Parents are responsible for inspecting the property before allowing children free reign. Our arrival guidebook goes over the potential dangers of the backyard waterfall.
Guests will need da car, as our rural area has no public transportation. Plan to use a vehicle with four wheel drive (4WD) during periods of snow, as our property is in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
During 1st and last yearly freezing, the waterfall closes. When indoor fireplaces opens, one complimentary bundle of firewood IS provided for each night. of your stay.
If you would like to purchase extra firewood, we can try to arrange that. We just need as much notice as possible.
