Up to eight guests can stay at this gorgeous, rustic cabin located near Asheville, North Carolina. The master bedroom boasts a queen-size bed, and the incredible mountain views can be seen right from bed! Although guests may want to argue over who gets to nab this rustic, wood-paneled bedroom, the second bedroom downstairs also boasts a king-size bed, and the other bedroom, also downstairs, features two twin-size beds. Another sofa-bed can be found upstairs, and a queen-size sofa-bed can be found upstairs. After a restful night’s sleep, this two-story rustic cabin also boasts a spacious kitchen with granite countertops and GE appliances, perfect for enjoying a delicious breakfast together. The renovated bathrooms offer a traditional shower and bathtub combination downstairs, as well as a custom glass shower upstairs. After a day of exploring all the area has to offer, guests can come back to a cozy dinner all together by the fireplace, and sunset views from the expansive deck by the chimenea, enjoying a glass of wine from a local winery. This fully-renovated mountain accommodation sleeps up to eight adults between three and a half bedrooms and features two full bathrooms. The large deck with its chimenea is the perfect place to enjoy an evening reconnecting with nature, showing off the incredible mountain views right from the comfort of this gorgeous cabin. A wood-burning stove, the main source of heat of the property, and a fireplace are great for keeping warm in the colder months. Within an hour’s drive of some of the hiking trails and waterfalls in North Carolina, and at just under 70 miles from Asheville Municipal Airport, this property is in the perfect location for a relaxing glamping getaway. There is also ample parking for RV or trailers.

Within an hour’s drive of six different national forests and state parks, staying a few days at this lovely, wooded cabin is a great excuse to get out and explore. Asheville offers an array of independent shops, craft breweries and some of the best dining options in the southeast. Nearby, Blowing Rock (45minutes) has some of the best scenic views for miles along with quaint boutiques and gift shops. The accommodation itself has gorgeous mountain views from three different deck/porch areas. Guests should be sure to visit the local towns of Spruce Pine and Linville for orchards, caving, gem mining, rafting, and wine tasting.

Glampers can get out and discover the Western North Carolina wilderness at Linville Falls and the surrounding area with hiking and fishing opportunities. In the winter, avid skiers & boarders can take in all that Sugar & Beech Mountains have to offer. In the summer & fall, live music and other festivities are ready to be enjoyed at the historic Altapass Orchard as well as Linville Falls Winery. Glampers will love horseback riding, tubing, and even more fishing at Springmaid Mountain.

There’s no shortage of hiking trails either, with Crabtree Falls, Roan Mountain, Mt. Mitchell, Grandfather Mountain and many, many other fantastic opportunities to get out and explore just a short drive from the property. Be sure to make a side visit to the Penland School of Crafts (just a 20-minute drive) to see amazing artists at work.
