Comprising about 56,000 acres of water with a 962-mile wooded shoreline, Lake Hartwell provides guests with plenty of recreational opportunities and natural beauty to enjoy during their stay.
About 15 minutes to the west, guests will find the southeastern periphery of more than two million acres of interconnected national forests, state parks, and national parks, such as Tallulah Gorge State Park and Chattahoochee National Forest. About 22 minutes to the southeast, guests will find Lake Hartwell State Park, across the lake from which they will also find Tugaloo State Park. Here, guests will find a swimming beach, hiking trails, boat ramps, and fishing spots.
