This private suite in the desert near Albuquerque, New Mexico is full of light pink and cream colored fabrics with pine wood accents on the windows and ceiling, giving it a rustic-meets-luxury feel. The king bed is topped with a thick white duvet and satin pillows, with a white love seat facing the end of the bed and a high backed antique chair positioned next to the mirrored antique armoire in the corner of the room. Guests can also request an additional roll-away bed for those bringing children on their vacation.

The suite has a private balcony, accessible through the tall glass doors on one side of the room. The balcony has a few chairs, where guests can sit and enjoy the views of the desert, the Sandia Mountains, and the Albuquerque wilderness below. There is also a private, en suite bathroom, which is painted a cheerful coral and equipped with patterned tiles and a standing shower and tub combination.

In the main room of the bed and breakfast, visitors can unwind in the decadent seating area facing the large stone fireplace before heading out to explore the New Mexico nature. The patio outside invites guests to gaze at the stunning nature beyond the property or venture outside at night to look at the stars brilliantly shining in the desert sky.

The lodge has five bedrooms and five en suite bathrooms, accommodating up to 13 guests at a time with completely full rooms. There is a living room with plenty of seating, and a patio outside with a table and chairs. Each room receives a full breakfast every morning, and there is space for parking cars.

This beautiful lodge is nestled in the Sandia Mountains on a hill, just 20 minutes outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The bed and breakfast is surrounded by trees and mountain peaks, with beautiful expanses of preserved land like Cibola National Forest and Santa Fe National Forest that are within driving distance from the property. Albuquerque is New Mexico’s largest city, boasting beautiful Spanish style architecture from the 18th century, as well as numerous natural museums, restaurants, and shops for guests to explore throughout their stay. The city of Santa Fe is only an hour and 20 minutes to the north of the cabin as well, where can embrace more of the culture of New Mexico in the state’s capital city.

Guests of the bed and breakfast will find a lot to do right on the property, like bird watching on the back porch, unwinding with a cup of tea on the outdoor patio, or heading into Cibola National Forest on one of the trails that begin in the back yard. Next door, there are horse stables, where glampers can rent a horse for a few hours to explore the forest and high desert region that surrounds the lodge. The Paa-Ko Ridge Golf Course is only five miles away, so guests can hit a round of golf before driving along the nearby Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway to take in the views of the desert wildlife in the distance. Sandia Mountain Ski Area is just seven miles from the property, with ski slopes open all winter and mountain biking trails available for the summer.

In Albuquerque, visitors can visit the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center or The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History to learn about the complex history of the area, or simply peruse the bustling streets filled with beautiful buildings, lively restaurants and bars, and attractive shops. Every October, guests can also watch the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, or ride over the desert in a hot air balloon themselves.
