The fantastic ghost town is host to ghost tours that provide a spooky backdrop for an exciting vacation. Incredible buildings like a saloon, a general store, and a post office are all over a century old and still in good condition, allowing for guests to tour them and take some excellent photos.
Just a short drive away is Elephant Butte, where guests can cast a line for their catch of the day, take a boat out for the afternoon, or enjoy a morning of kayaking or canoeing. The Rio Grande River is excellent for swimming in during summer after enjoying a soak in the hot springs at Truth or Consequences.
For a taste of the big city, guests can take a day trip to Las Cruces and visit one of the many museums or art galleries. There's also plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars to enjoy, as well as plenty of shopping.
