Surrounded by towering trees, this rustic tree house is located in Tijeras in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, and is perfect for those who want to get in touch with the great outdoors while on vacation. With one bedroom and one bathroom, this romantic retreat can accommodate up to two guests.

The bedroom features a full-size bed, which is outfitted with crisp cotton sheets to ensure guests lull off into a serene slumber after a fun-filled day hiking through the surrounding wilderness. The room is also equipped with Wi-Fi so guests can stay in touch with loved ones back home or stream their favorite movies.

Outside, guests will find the bathroom, the kitchen, and a dining area. The bathroom features a shower, a sink, and a shower. The kitchen is located behind the main room and has everything guests need to make delicious meals, including a hot plate, a mini-refrigerator, a coffeemaker, and a toaster oven. Glampers can enjoy their meals at the dining table with seating for two before gathering around the fire pit to talk late into the night as the stars dance in the midnight sky.

This solar-powered glamping site has four accommodations, which have everything guests need for a fantastic stay. Fine linens and soft towels are provided. Three of the accommodations feature heating and air conditioning in order to ensure guests are comfortable at all times. All rentals have Wi-Fi so guests can stay up-to-date on their emails, keep in touch with loved ones back home, or stream their favorite TV shows. For entertainment, three of the four vacation rentals have flat-screen TVs. Additionally, one rental has a wood-burning stove, while another has a stone fireplace.

Outside, there is plenty of parking. Guests can also wander through the stunning grounds where they will find a vineyard, lavender fields, and an organic garden. There is also a horseshoe pit and a fire pit. Furthermore, there is an outdoor bathroom boasting stunning views of the cliffs on the Rocky Ridge guests can use from late spring to fall. Beneath the solar arrays, guests will find a ping-pong table, which is available to guests during the spring, summer, and fall months.

The heart of Tijeras, with its several shops and cafes, is about 10 minutes away. There are many nearby natural attractions. Cibola National Forest has several trails glampers can explore and is about 30 minutes away. Carlito Springs and Travertine Falls are both within 15 minutes of the glamping site. A bit further away, guests will find Albuquerque, which is New Mexico’s largest city and home to the Petroglyph National Monument, Sandia Peak Tramway, and Albuquerque Biological Park. The nearest international airport, Albuquerque International Sunport, is 25 minutes away.

Nature enthusiasts can make their way to Cibola National Forest where they can hike, bike, or horseback ride through the rugged terrain and admire the gorgeous flora and fauna as they go along. Keen fishers can cast their lines in Bluewater Lake and try to reel in a big catch before heading to Albuquerque to visit the Petroglyph National Monument. In the winter, guests can ski or snowboard down the powdery slopes at Sandia Peak Ski Area before heading home to sip on a mug of hot cocoa.
