Soriano

The department of Soriano is one of the lesser-known locations in Uruguay. It doesn’t have major cities and beach resorts like Montevideo, but it offers a rich history and culture worth checking out. Mercedes, the capital of the region, offers a city with plenty of old buildings that serve as historic landmarks.
