The design of the cabins is worth a more detailed description: the exterior walls with wooden base are about 4 feet high end screened to the roof all the way around to allow fresh air and light to enter. This way, the sounds of the jungle can be fully enjoyed as well. Privacy is created by the shaggy palm roof with an extremely long overhang to block the view of passersby into the cabin. Also, the bathroom area is separated by a solid interior wall on two sides and lined with ceramic tile on the inside. Electricity in the cabins is provided by generators from sunset to 11 p.m.

Connected to this building is an extensive deck area with built-in tables and benches, which are great for watching the spectacular views of the surrounding jungle and river and perfect for gazing at the stars at night. Inside the building you'll find an extensive library featuring books and magazines in many different languages. All the structures are joined by a network of elevated plank walkways and lined with kerosene torches to light the way by night. The grounds have been beautifully landscaped with jungle plants.
What to bring: hat, long trousers, long-sleeve shirt, shorts, rain jacket, insect repellent, camera, swimming suit and flashlight (very important).
