Just an hour from Lismore, our tiny house is set on 15 acres of private land with back paddock and open pasture, grazing cattle and rolling hills.Our holiday homes allows you to access New South Wales region’s amazing attractions like te Shannon National Park, Munda Biddi Trails, Hawke National Park, Casino Water Tower Mural, Platypus Pool, Casino Miniature Railway, Secret Lake and Jabiru Geneebeinga Wetlands.A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.Guest Access:Guests can access the tiny house and its surrounding areas, including paddock with the large dam, except for the land host's private residence and the sheep paddock.Advisory:- Please expect free-roaming pets during your stay.- We have occasional livestock and farm activity noise on the property.Interaction with Guests:Guests will enjoy your own private space but we are always happy to chat with you.The Neighborhood:This countryside retreat is located in Shannon Brook, Australia. However, during periods of intense or prolonged rain, access may be less suitable for low-clearance vehicles. In these conditions, alternative routes are available.By public transport:Reaching the property by train or bus:- The closest major public transport hubs are Casino and Lismore. Both towns are serviced by NSW TrainLink (train and coach services) from Sydney and Brisbane. From Casino or Lismore, guests will need to arrange a private car, taxi, or rideshare to reach the property, as public transport does not service the final rural section.Getting to nearby towns from the property:- There is no local public transport servicing the property. A car is required to travel to nearby towns, shops, and amenities.Taxi services:- Limited local taxi services operate in Casino and Lismore, but availability can be inconsistent, particularly after hours. Pre-booking is strongly recommended. Rideshare services are limited and may not be reliable in this area.Other Things to Note:- BBQ grill (gas) is available.- Coffee machine is available - Farm tour is offered for free, subject to our availability- Firewood is available for $30 and includes 15kg of wood, fire starters, and matches. Payment is made on arrival and availability depends on weather and local fire restrictions. - No smoking allowed on the property- Children are welcome under close adult supervision, including a safety guide sent prior to booking.- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge.- Pets are allowed by 24 hours prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival.- Telstra and Optus have reliable mobile coverage at the property. Vodafone has limited signal, while other providers generally have no reception.Important Note:- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban- Keep an eye out for snakes as the property is located in bushland or grassland areas- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property. Children are welcome under close adult supervision, including a safety guide sent prior to booking.- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
