This enchanting yurt rental can accommodate up to four guests and is the perfect place for a family getaway near the charming town of Ballandean, Queensland. As an eco-friendly property, power to the yurt is supplied by the property’s solar panels and drinking water is collected and treated in rainwater tanks.
In the bedroom, guests will find a king-size bed which can be converted into two single beds, as well as a flat-screen TV and a fan with a remote control. The bathroom has a shower and heat lamps, and guests are invited to sample some of the farm’s gorgeous handmade soaps.
The living room has plenty of comfortable furniture, as well as a log fire to keep guests cozy whilst curled up, watching a film on the yurt’s flat-screen TV. There is also a dining table which seats four.
Guests will share a small, cultivated garden with fellow glampers from the neighboring yurt, and are encouraged to take a stroll through the property’s expansive grounds, which will not fail to impress even the most discerning of glampers.
The property is situated on five acres of land and looks out onto some of the best wineries of the Granite Belt. Guests are invited to admire the lovely trees and flowers that have been carefully cultivated to add some magic to this property. There is a nearby general store, bakery, coffee shop, and plenty of charming spots to grab breakfast in the immediate surroundings of the property.

This area of Queensland is famous for its vineyards and wineries, and with good reason! There are over 45 high-quality wineries in the Ballandean and Stanthorpe area alone, and guests will love taking part in one of the many guided tours that that will pick guests up from the doorstep of their accommodation. Girraween and Sundown National Parks have some fabulous landscapes that hikers are sure to love, and the property is also very close to a number of golf courses, including Stanthorpe Golf Course. For guests who prefer water-based activities, a trip to Storm King Dam for some boating or fishing would also be a great option.
