Description of Glamping Units
Accessible by a boardwalk to protect the forest floor, the rainforest huts have no solid walls. Instead, the timber structure is screened on all four sides with weatherproof curtains that can be drawn for privacy and protection from inclement weather. Each hut has a small verandah and simple furnishings and sleeps two in either double or twin beds. Linens are provided and towels are available for hire from reception. A simple deck extends from the cabin, while the natural foliage of the forest creates privacy. Some cabins have an en-suite bathroom, which is gravity fed with fresh, cold water collected on site and includes a shower, a toilet and basin fittings of quality and style. Read More

The property has a low impact philosophy so all of the buildings are designed and constructed to ensure that the vegetation and birdlife is disturbed as little as possible. To further minimize ongoing greenhouse gas emissions, air-conditioning is not necessary because the natural cooling effect of the rainforest has been incorporated into the design. Cross ventilation and ceiling fans cool the accommodations quite adequately.
Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool in the rainforest, a library, non-smoking rooms, an on-site restaurant, a bar/lounge, a tour desk, WiFi Internet, free parking, broadband internet access, a café, guest laundry, and a camp kitchen.
