It has one bedroom and one full bathroom. The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed flanked by nightstands made from polished Tasmanian oak and surrounded by colorful rugs and fabrics. In the bathroom, guests will find a luxurious spa bathtub. Linens and towels are provided.

In the cozy living room, guests will find a pair of armchairs, a handmade chessboard table, a wood-burning stove, and an entertainment center with a flat-screen television, a stereo, and iPod/laptop connectivity, along with a collection of books and games. The dining area contains a table for two set by a large window through which guests can enjoy views of a lovely garden. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with an oven, a stove, a microwave, a refrigerator, and an electric kettle. Other amenities include limited Wi-Fi, a washer, and a dryer.

Outside, guests will find a patio with a porch swing and a barbecue grill, as well as a pond in which they can fish for trout, see waterfowl, and possibly even spot a platypus. Next to the property, they will find woods that are laced with trails and contain a hut in which they can write, paint, meditate, or simply relax and listen to the songs of the abundant birds that live around the cottage.

Inside the cottage, guests will enjoy amenities such as a fully-equipped kitchen, a spa bathtub, a wood-burning stove, a television, limited Wi-Fi, a washer, and a dryer. Outside, guests will find a patio with a porch swing and a barbecue grill, as well as a pond in which they can fish for trout.

Guests may fish for trout but are only allowed one per guest with an additional charge as it helps pay to restock the dam.

One elderly cross breed dog, Freckle, who is 13, lives on the farm and is known to bark at strangers the first time he sees them.

The host is willing to accommodate a small child, under age 6, as a third guest. Please notify the host if you will be traveling with a child under six. Well behaved dogs are welcome, however, they must be placed in a kennel when the guest is not present. For more information, please inquire with the host.

At the farm on which the cottage is located, guests can go fishing for trout on a pond where they can also see a variety of waterfowl and even a platypus. In the woods surrounding the farm, they will find paths on which they can go walking, and there is also a hut in which they can write, paint, and meditate.

While exploring the farm and the trails, guests will have many opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife viewing. Local mammals include wallabies, Tasmanian devils, echidnas, and quolls, while local birds include black cockatoos, eagles, wrens, robins, honeyeaters, and parrots.

For shopping and dining, guests will find a variety of options in nearby Wynard, where they can also visit Fossil Bluff to see fossils and a 275-million-year-old geological formation. For swimming, boating, fishing, and hiking, guests can head to Boat Harbour Beach and the adjacent Rocky Cape National Park.
