Come and indulge in the simple luxuries this tiny house has to offer. Situated in South Gippsland, known for its art and cultural festivals abound, gourmet meals, and wine throughout the region. The ideal farm stay Victoria getaway, where you can enjoy the secluded bush trial from the car park to the tiny houses, relax by the crackling fire, and watch the sunset over the wide open field.

Waratah Bay, Venus Bay, and Sandy Point beaches are just a few of the nearby attractions in Buffalo.

The Space:
It is located in the quiet neighborhoods of Buffalo, just two hours away from Melbourne and only 21 minutes away from Walkerville. It is a small village located in Waratah Bay where holidaymakers can spend hours exploring the coastline filled with rock pools and sandy coves.

A cozy accommodation carefully situated on the property's north side, nestled in the bush on the edge of a paddock, with amazing bushland views, a countryside ambiance, and friendly goats to keep you company.

It's a 155-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for you to use.

If you plan to spend your farm stay Victoria getaways here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities, such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there may be agricultural noise surrounded by working farms that tend to farm animals. For a well-rested stay, we recommend that guests bring earplugs with them.

Additionally, please note that we have a second tiny house, "Buffalo Plains Tiny House" that sits on the same property. If you want to book in groups, please contact your land host 24 hrs in advance to make arrangements.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and the north fence line around the swings. Also, pick-up (or drop-off) services come at an extra cost and must be pre-arranged with the land host.

Interaction with Guests:
Guests will enjoy your own private space but we are always happy to chat with you.

The property sits in the quiet neighborhoods of Buffalo, only 2 hours away from Melbourne. Explore local shops, restaurants, cafes, and enjoy day trips to Fairy Cove and Squeaky Beach.

- Meeniyan and Tarwin Lower have excellent IGA stores.
- Fish Creek boasts 3 fantastic coffee spots, artisan shops, and famed medium and healer Anna Stefani.
- The Meeniyan to Koonwarra trail passes through historic and charming railway trestle bridges. The 8km ride ends in Koonwarra for coffee and lunch.
- The Great Southern Rail Trail is a 107km route that's perfect for long drives or cycling. It passes through charming towns like Loch, Korumburra, and Foster, and offers stunning rural views.

Local Favourites:

- Moo's and Trulli Pizza, Pandasal Bakery in Meeniyan, Long John Pickle in Fish Creek, The Lemon Pepper Calamari, and The Cavity-Venus Bay are just a few of the eateries in the area.
- Walkerville beaches, Waratah Bay, Sandy Point, Shallow Inlet, and Cape Liptrap are a few of the stunning coastal locations you can visit. Don't miss the unique Tarwin River boat ramp and boardwalk at Tarwin Lower / Venus Bay.

Getting Around:
By car: All are reachable by 2WD

By public transport: There is a v/line bus stop at Buffalo, 2.5km away. Yes, taxis are available.

- No Wi-Fi
- Bike rental available for $10 per day
- Drinking water is supplied to the unit
- Firewood costs $20 per wheelbarrow load
- We have pet goats roaming on the adjacent paddock
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- No smoking allowed inside/outside the tiny house
- Pick-up (or drop-off) services must be pre-arranged with the host
- Expect that a light easterly wind may make road noise noticeable
- Please be informed that foxes are in the area as well as the property is mostly a bird habitat
- Good signal for Optus, weak signal for Telstra, and no signal at all for Vodafone, 2degrees, and Spark
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Mostly, there is barbed wire fencing on the property, so off-leash dogs can wander. Cats are to be contained at all times.

Pets Policy

- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Pets are allowed but need to be well-controlled and not able to chase birds, goats, or sheep
- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out in courtesy of other guests
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival

Farm guidelines

- Always remember to shut the gates before entering and leaving the paddocks
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
- The pet goats particularly enjoy bread and will come to the front gate when you yell “Here goaty boys!”

Important note:

- Given the rural setting, children are welcome under CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay..
