There is an abundance of orchid species, some of which are rare and endangered. With over 200 bird varieties, bird watching is a popular pastime as well as spotting the native kangaroos, emus, echidnas, and shingle black and blue tongue lizards.
Guests can also visit the town of Dunkeld, where they'll find many galleries, restaurants, and bakeries. There are also several walking, hiking and cycling trails, as well as a local horse riding center is Wartook Valley.
