Stunning Sustainable Safari Tent with Gorgeous Views and Pool in Costerfield, Victoria

Safari tent in Heathcote, Victoria

4 guests • 3 beds

New

Located 90 mins from Melbourne and close to Heathcote in beautiful Central Victoria. We offer two luxurious off-grid large safari-style glamping tents set in 100 acres of natural bush.

Emu Valley is settled in the valley and looks east - catching the sunrise.

Echidna Ridge sits high on the hill and looks south-west catching the sunsets.

The tents are separated by about 150m and are sited for maximum privacy.

Both tents are identical in terms of layout and utilities but have slightly different internal decor and furnishings. Emu Valley has a dreamy 4-poster bed and antique mosquito net.

Both tents can accommodate up to 4 guests, have their own private fire-pits, internal wood stoves, BBQs and spacious decks with breath-taking views across surrounding hills and woodlands.

You will also have use of a mineral salt swimming pool which is set in a fully landscaped native garden - a terrific option for relaxation during your stay. In addition, you may wander or ride through the 100 acres of bush on the property.

Off-grid and environmentally sustainable - the glamping tents are carefully sited to ensure maximum privacy and enjoyment of the views and adjacent landscapes.
Relax and enjoy the magic and romance of camping, whilst at the same time retaining a high level of comfort. Our luxury tented accommodation is fully off-grid and environmentally sustainable – you can rest-assure that your visit will have a minimal carbon impact.

The mineral salt swimming pool is a short walk (or drive) down the hill and provides another great opportunity for relaxation and rejuvenation.

15 minutes from the vibrant and growing country town Heathcote, renowned for its wineries (particularly Shiraz) and increasingly, it’s options for nature-based activities including cycling, walking and birdwatching. Our property offers more than a 100 acres for you to explore with 2-3km of marked tracks. We also share a boundary with the Heathcote-Graytown National Park, so if you wish to access this beautiful piece of remnant Box-Ironbark Forest it is right on your doorstep.

Beyond the property itself, you are within 30-45mins of several well-known tourism towns in the region, including Bendigo, Nagambie, Lancefield, Castlemaine and Kyneton. We believe that both the location and the setting of the tents provides you with an unrivalled opportunity to unwind, immerse yourself in nature, and enjoy the attractions of the region.

More detailed information on what to see and do in the region is available in the compendium upon arrival or can be accessed via our website.

We hope you enjoy your stay here and look forward to catching up during your visit.

We are located on a 100acres of beautiful Box-Ironbark Forest that runs from Bendigo through Heathcote and on to Graytown and Rushworth. Birdlife is spectacular and varied across the seasons and there is abundant wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, echidna, emu and goanas. The wildflowers and wattles are particularly good in winter and spring. In addition, the region has a deserved reputation for clear night skies and is therefore excellent for stargazing (we have a modest telescope).
